Mount Edgecumbe....

Back from the long Easter weekend...BOO!!!! England has a long Easter weekend as Good Friday is a holiday and the Monday following the weekend is also considered a holiday. It was soooo great! Ben and I spent most of Thursday after work and Friday revamping the soon-to-be baby's room and office. Unfortunately he'll have to share the room with the desk...there is nowhere else to put it! Ben has been such a trooper! He has moved everything out and been using all of his handyman skills to fix everything! We had to take advantage of the beautiful weather we've been having though and GET OUT of our flat!! We had some good friends visiting us from London so we decided to go to Mount Edgecumbe. It used to be a large estate owned by the Earls of Edgecumbe and their families from the 1500's on. Its a small little pennisula and they owned almost the whole entire thing. The house itself is like something out of Pride and Prejudice and gardens are absolutley everywhere! When we go see places like this and the sun is shining, I always think to myself how grateful I am to live in England! We went up with some of our good friends Jared and Pag and Erana and Ben. It was quite funny to see all the wives (all of whom are pregnant) walking up the hills! We had a fab picnic and then strolled around grounds and sucked in some fresh air...good times!!!

Matt and I just watched The Holiday and decided that we're going to England on our next big vacay and we're gonna visit you too!
